Fresh salmon and seafood, smoked fish, oysters. Glen Fyne meats including beef, lamb and venison. Marinades and pates, Isle of Mull cheddar. Bacon, sausages, black puddings and haggis. And an excellent local beer!

The George Hotel in Inverary is informal, friendly and popular. It serves excellent pub food. Across Loch Awe from Sonachan House is the 4-star Taychreggan Hotel, open for dinner. Nearby, the Ardanaiseig Hotel Restaurant is also open to non-residents and the owner may even offer you a boat service across the loch! The Loch Fyne Restaurant is one of our favourites, serving wonderful local fayre in simple but stylish surroundings. Further afield, the Bridge of Orchy Hotel provides excellent meals and serves all day, which is great for a late lunch after a lazy lie-in!
